That's my home where live. Cologne is in Germany. The main landmark of Cologne is the Cathedral, what is the heart of the City. It forms the centre and provides the measure for everything else. 144 metres long, 86 metres wide and with 157-metre-tall spires. It stands on a flat-topped hill that has been a place of worship since the beginning of the city's history. The Cathedral building begun in 1248, the construction of this Gothic masterpiece took place in several stages and was not completed until 1880. It has been destroyed in the 2nd World War by hits but didn't collapsed. The reconstruction was completed in 1956.
