german translation doesn't work

Hello,

i've downloaded here (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showpost.php?p=828203&postcount=2) a german translation.
And i did Go to vB ACP -> Languages & Phrases -> Download / Upload Languages -> Import Language XML File to import a language XML file.

Answer from ACP: xml-file is invalid.

I tried to download the file three times and also tried the steps above. But also not sucessfully.

I opened the file in an only-text-editor and saw that the file is for 3.5.
I've the newest vB-version 3.6.8.

What can i do to make the translation running?

Try looking at a vB 3.6.8 language XML file and see if you need to make any changes to the vB 3.5.4 language XML file, checking the vB 3.5.4 language XML file for any typos in the XML format, or contacting the author of that translation to see if s/he has an updated version.

i've checked two xml files and found the mistake in "my" file..

well, maybe it just doesn't work in 3.6.8?!..

I have currently also problems importing the phrases.

Ok I checked out the old german language file and found the error.
I created a new file and this works also for vBulletin 3.7 beta4
