Hi,
just wanna know if the following features exist/are expected in near future in photoplog? (it wasn't very clear from the description so asking)

1) ftp upload
2) url upload(i know its not there.. any plans to have this later :)
3) import from vba?
4) ability to set whats shown on image thumbs. eg its showing everything right now. is there any admincp option to select whats shown
eg i wanna remove date and comments from there. it can be done via template, but an admincp option would be nice :)
5) i don't exactly like the way rating feature is there. that comes when you wanna comment. a vba like feature in a dropdown would be nice. or a ajax based rating like v3arcade would be super on the same page as the image is shown :)

thats about it. (1) and (3) are the most important things. for te rest i can wait but would need those two to buy now :cool:


(actually i have vbgallery for one site. am looking at this for another site i am starting)

1: This will probably be available in Pro v.2.1.2. The back-end is now being honed, and once done, new front-end features will be added.

2: Same answer as one.

3: This won't be available until PhotoPlog Pro has all of the 'standard' gallery features, so that an import can do its best to import in one go.

4: There aren't admin options to turn on/off info bits that show in the thumbnail information. Maybe I'll add the options in a future release.

5: Look for a rating drop down box in Pro v.2.1.2.

Pro v.2.1.1 is just around the corner, and then coding some of the new features will start forthwith. The time frame for the pro v.2.1.2 release depends on how the coding goes. :)

Yes, I also want to trim the thumbnail description down but there is no option in the admincp. Please add it.
