Vbadvanced change thumbnails to random

I have installed a module to my site http://www.back2bowlers.co.uk which shows the newest thumbnails but i really want to change it to random ones.

ALso i wouldnt mind having some images running down one of the side columns how would i do this???

There is an add-on for vBa CMPS and PhotoPlog Lite at http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=103839 though you might need to tweak it.
