Default Yet Another Wrong Mime Type

Hey There,

Just downloaded your add-on! Must say...pretty freakin cool!

only problem that i have is with png files...

i can upload everything else fine...except png's

and i'm positive png's are enabled because i use them all over my site.
our community uses only png's and i'd love to use your script.

any way to fix this?

Check whether PHP/GD has PNG Support enabled.

Try uploading one of your PNGs, one that doesn't work on your site, to the lite online demo and see if it uploads okay.

PhotoPlog doesn't care what browser you use, so check the IE7 settings, especially the security settings.

I have this same issue, also could not upload here on the photoplog site through IE7. (default security settings, i can't ask my visitors to change their settings, would you if a internet site asked you to lower them?)
Works like it should in Firefox though.

Also PNG thums are the wrong color?

Again, PhotoPlog doesn't care what browser you use. I've personally tested PhotoPlog in FF1, FF2, IE6, and IE7 without incident. Now I'm not recommending that you remove your security settings. I'm saying to check the settings. Something is obviously different on your browser and/or local machine than mine, but I cannot tell you what that would be as there are numerous settings/options. Maybe it's a setting, maybe an unrecognized MIME type is sent, maybe it's related to a firewall, etcetera. As for PNGs see http://www.photoplog.com/forum/showthread.php?t=522
