Default A few questions...

Hello all!

First of all, I love PhotoPlog Lite. But I would like to know if I can do a few things with it before I make it public on my sites.

I have two webhosting accounts, one with my main forums and photoplog on and the other with my main site on.
Is there a way to display n number of random thumbs on the main site that link to the actual photo on the forums?

Both of the accounts are on the same server.
So it's just like...

If you want to display thumbs on the main site, and you can access the database with the PhotoPlog tables, you'd need to write some code to call whatever information you want from the PhotoPlog tables and output HTML to use on the main site.

Yeah I can access the database and stuff. Does anyone know the main template for the gallery if this has some of the database information on it then I can base it on that.

That would be the photoplog_file_list template.

If anyone wants to earn some spare cash then I am willing to pay for someone to write me a script that will connect to the database for a random thumb to be picked up.

All I want is the following....
- A random thumbnail to be picked from the gallery database.
- The thumbnail to be linked to the image on the gallery that will open in a new window (called "gallery" so all of them open in the same one).

I can cope with adding in the database information (username, server, database etc) so long as it is defined.
I would do it myself but I don't have a clue where I'm looking in the database and think it would be easier for me to part with a bit of cash and have it done right.

If you need, I'm on PHP5 and also MySQL5. If you want to send me an email (hoddz2k6 [at] gmail [dot] com) then I will take your offers and quotes to code this little bit.

Hopefully see you soon in my inbox;
Regards, Ben H
