Default Install problem... dont see it on Forum homepage

Hi Guys,

Have a problem... hopefully someone can hed some light.

For some reason this mod has not been straight forward. Have installed ibProarcade, Various CYB mods, and Yet another award system...none of these presented ANY problems.

After a whole day I am now at the point where my Forums home page does not show any link in the nave bar - or any way at all to get to photoplog.

I didnt get any errors when importing the XML file.

If I manually enter the URL to the photoplog/index.php file..BAM up it comes, in all its glory . If I click the Forum home link... the photoplog mod dissapears...with no wa back again???

Also... I tried to see if the functionality of the mod works when going there manually... and it doesnt. I get the following error message when uploading a file:-

Quote:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagetypes() in /home/wclangam/public_html/Forums/photoplog/functions.php on line 44

I am about to deinstall this mod... probably something simple... but I have spent countless HOURS on it

Brit

1: If you want a link to the gallery on the navbar, you need to edit the vB navbar template. The link to add to the vB navbar template can be found in post two of the lite release thread.

2: That error means that the GD library is not installed correctly. Double check that you meet the requirements listed in the initial lite release post and also check post three and this thread.

hmm...

I have a setting issue in Vbulletin in the Admin/image part. It shows a broekn image in the image verification section...when selecting GD type (Trutype)

I sent an email to the server admin people...here is the reply I got

I just checked the server and everything for GD seems to be in order:
GD::Graph is up to date (1.44).
GD::Text::Align is up to date (1.18).

Since both Forum and Photoplog seem to have issues in this GD area.... any suggestions of other Vbulletin settings.... or some other suggestion I can make to the server guys?

Cheers

Tell your server guys that you are getting the following error, that imagetypes is a GD specific function, that it seems something is not installed for GD to fully work, and direct them to http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.image.php
  • Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagetypes()
