Bad Open - Cannot Open the images Directory for Writing
I have no clue what I am doing wrong. I have CHMOD the image folder, it's set at 777, yet I still keep getting this error. I've checked to make sure the right folder is set in the Upload images section, and it all seems fine. Everytime I try to upload a picture I get the error of Bad Open - Cannot Open the images Directory for Writing.
I have not put a link to the gallery on the main forum yet, I wanted to be sure everything was working before I link it to my members. I've set the permissions for a guest to access it, maybe someone can help? http://www.familyfriendsfirearms.com...log/upload.php Thanks in advance! |

PhotoPlog is trying to do the following. If it cannot write the index file, it gives you that error. Try taking off the @ to see if PHP gives you a message. The line of code is in the upload.php and edit.php files.
Code:

Thank you I messed up with the correct path.
Here's another quick question if you could so kindly help me, when my members upload a picture, the picture does not show up as the original size (even when you click on the image to see the original size). It seems to be shrinking the pictures. Where would I be able to fix this problem in the settings? Thanks in advance! |

When you click the image to see the original, check whether your browser is resizing the image to fit your screen. If using Firefox, go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Resize large images to fit in the browser window and see if it's checked. Also, you can set thumbnail dimensions for new uploads in the PhotoPlog settings.
