Default photo storage

Hello,

Are the photos people upload stored in the DB or in the file system. I think I read that it is not in the DB and in a folder you specify, but just want to make sure.

Also, as far as moving around where things go, am I able to move it just like I would in VB?

Thanks,

Marcos

Uploads are stored as files on the server that holds the PhotoPlog install, and you can install PhotoPlog in whatever directory you want, inside or outside the main forum directory. For example, the online demo is in the /demo/pro directory whereas this forum is in the /forum directory. You can also name the directory that holds the uploaded files and user directories. By default that directory is named images and it needs to be within the main PhotoPlog directory, so for the online demo, uploaded files and user directories are in the /demo/pro/images directory.
