Default Upload member's pictures ?

I know in the Pro version members have their own folder where they can upload.
I'm going to converted a forum. The old forum had a gallery so members have already uploaded their pictures.

Is it possible to mass upload the pictures in their folders, so they don't have to do it all over again themselves ?

In the pro version it is possible to upload as a different user and do FTP import. There is a screenshot of usergroup permissions here. Note that FTP import requires files to be in the directory that will be listed on the upload page.
