Bad Open - Cannot Open the images Directory for Writing
Gallery seems to work fine for everyone including myself except for one user.
This user is getting the following error "Bad Open - Cannot Open the images Directory for Writing" I have not gotten anyone else with this problem, but most probably wouldn't come forward and probably just give up never to return to the site again. He has tried it on several machines OSX and WinXP Safari and IExplorer, even wet as far as taking off his Airport Router. Earlier today I did a remote desktop via iChat to see if possibly he was doing something wrong but I seen the error for myself. He is able to post comments, just cant upload. I know its not a 777 issue since it works for everyone else. What could be the problem? San Diego Photography Forum

Sounds like a permissions issue. Double check that the PhotoPlog images directory, and all subdirectories within the PhotoPlog images directory, have 777 permissions. On a *nix server, to set 777 permissions in one go via hell, cd to your PhotoPlog images directory, and then type the following:
