Default Mods and Users have to log in over and over

We are having a problem similar to a thread below, but I'm not sure his fix (putting PhotoPlog inside the forums directory) is going to help us.

Mods and users are able to get into the PhotoPlog directory, but if they click on anything, it brings them to a log-in screen (even though they are logged in already). They log in, it brings them back to the directory, they try to click on something again and it brings them to another log in screen.

My husband did the install and said it specifically said *not* to put PhotoPlog in the forums directory, so we're at a loss. We're not getting any of the errors the other user was getting in his AdminCP (thread found here: http://www.photoplog.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52 ).

Admins don't seem to be affected at all with the log-in issue. The mods (right now, we are only open to our staff as we have not yet opened our new forum to the public yet) have all the correct permissions set (except they can not edit/delete others' gallery entries/comments/etc.).

PhotoPlog can be installed anywhere, inside or outside the main forum directory. Your issue sounds like a cookie issue: having, or not having, the www part of the link. If you log into www.domain.com (with www) but then click to domain.com/photoplog (without www) or vice versa, it'll appear that you have logged out. You can set the 'PhotoPlog Link' to use, or not use, the www in the link, or you can try to set the 'PhotoPlog Link' as a relative link, beginning with a forward slash, so that the setting replaces the entire path part for PhotoPlog links in your pages. Same goes for any PhotoPlog link you may have added to the navbar template.
