No release date is set. The current pro version is v.2.1.4.8.

Are there any plans for a new version? When I originally installed it in Oct' 07 I think it was 2.1.4.8, since then I paid for renewal and have another renewal coming up next month.

The pro license is a 'forever use' license, as long as you abide by the license agreement. Pro support includes one-year access to the pro forums and one-year download access from the download area. After the first year is over, you can continue to use PhotoPlog without renewing, but if you want continued support and access, then you'd need to renew. You may wish to wait until after the new version is released to renew.
